Dispensing Optician

**Who are we looking for?**

We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Dispensing Optician to become a valuable member of our team in Guiseley. As a Dispensing Optician, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional eyewear solutions to our customers at the Guiseley store. Our store specialises in high-end frames like Cartier frames, and we offer only the best frames and lenses, such as Zeiss and Hoya. In this role, interacting with customers and collaborating with our team are essential aspects of the job.

**Education**:

- Dispensing Optician qualification (GOC registered)

**Responsibilities**:

- Eyewear Consultation: Offer expert advice and guidance to patients on frame selection based on prescription, lifestyle, and style preferences.
- Frame Fitting: Ensure accurate measurements and fitting of lenses into chosen frames to optimise visual clarity and comfort for patients.
- Sales and Customer Service: Be confident in sales to assist customers in finding the perfect eyewear, providing a personalised experience.
- Team Support: Foster a team-oriented environment by collaborating with colleagues and being open to assisting in reception and administrative tasks.
- Training: Be willing to help train and support a student optician as part of our team development.
- Maintain Community Feel: Contribute to the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the store to uphold its family-like environment.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified Dispensing Optician with relevant certifications and experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
- Confident in sales and able to engage with customers effectively.
- Possess a valid driving license for travel between stores (Guiseley and Allerton).
- Administrative, financial and other supporting roles to ensure the day to day running of the practice.
