Overview

We have an opportunity available for a full time Senior Support Worker to join the team at our respite care service Cedar House, based in Spalding Lincolnshire PE11 1QF.

Salary: £12.75 per hour

Hours: 37.5 per week

Cedar House is a 7 bed respite service offering care and support to the people we support for short stays. At Making Space we are a team that are driven by a strong set of company values that guide us in our mission to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve in our community

Then the role of a Senior Support Worker might be perfect for you As a Senior Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to supervise and delegate tasks to a dedicated team of support workers, ensuring that values-based support is delivered to the highest standards to the people we support.

You will provide various levels of care and support to the people we support including those with complex needs and challenging behaviour.

The role will involve you to write , review and follow care & support plans , administering medication and assisting with daily living tasks.

Qualifications

As Senior Support Worker you will supervise staff members and delegate responsibilities ensuring values based support is delivered to the highest standard so previous Support Worker experience is essential.

On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
