We have an exciting temporary opportunity to join our established Neighbourhoods team as an Income Officer to cover a period of Maternity Leave.

At MSV Housing we're committed to making sure our customers have good quality safe homes and this role is key in making this happen.

Reporting to our Neighbourhoods Team Leader our Income Officer will ensure our income is maximised by the control of rent arrears.


Putting our customers at the heart of what they do with effective communication skills our Income Officer has the ability to understand with empathy the diverse needs of our customers.

Leading on low level rent arrears our Income Officer will liaise with customers on the importance of paying rent, chasing rent payments by telephone, letter and face to face visits as required to recover payments promptly.

Our Income Officers investigate overpayments of housing benefits and universal credits and make arrangements for overpayments to credited accordingly.

Working with internal departments our Income Officer also assist in the preparation of court paperwork ensuring that we have complied with the pre action protocols.


This is a temporary home-based role but there will be the expectation of you to attend our MSV hubs for collaboration and engagement purposes.
