This post is ideal for anybody looking to take their first step towards a career in pharmacy as well as those who wish to expand their pharmacy horizons within an enthusiastic and progressive team.
To provide support services to the Pharmacy department including the ordering, receipt, storage and supply of pharmaceuticals and other stock items, and dispensing individual patient prescriptions.
To participate as an active member of specific ward / unit / clinical teams, and support the safe and effective use of medicines.
To dispense and supply medication from our satellite pharmacies under the supervision of a registered pharmacy professional.
To work alongside our clinical pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to provide integrated pharmaceutical care for service users in the Trust to ensure safe, appropriate and cost effective use of medicines.
Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is a specialist mental health trust providing adult mental health services, older people's and young people's mental health services, substance misuse services, forensic services and learning disability services to Essex.
The Trust also provides Community Health Services within South East Essex, West Essex and Bedfordshire and the Trust wide immunisation services providing immunisations in schools across the county.
