Case Administrator (Temporary)

Looking for a detail-oriented individual to join NPS Bromley Magistrates as a Case Administrator on a temporary contract basis. Immediate start for a six-month duration with the opportunity to work both remotely and in the office located in London (Bromley).

Job Description:
This position involves providing administrative support to Court Duty officers in the probation office, handling general administrative tasks, and managing incoming calls to ensure excellent customer service. Responsibilities include updating probation and sentence details in the systems, transferring cases to the relevant office, and monitoring mailboxes promptly. The role requires high accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

This role may require occasional out-of-hours work, and confidentiality is crucial when handling sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and maintaining accurate offender and victim information on approved databases.
  • Administering referrals between offender management, victims, interventions, service providers, and external agencies.
  • Maintaining case records and managing information in compliance with standards.
  • Handling communications via telephone, email, and in-person.
  • Providing reception and telephone enquiry support.
  • Acting as a central point of contact for specific work areas.
  • Arranging practical details for the implementation of the Sentence Plan.
  • Conducting enforcement administration tasks.
  • Organizing resources and facilities for case management activities.
  • Attending meetings, providing support, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety protocols.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to engage with various individuals effectively.
  • Capability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Proficiency in English communication.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficient in MS Office Word and basic Excel skills.
  • Basic numeracy skills.
