Overview:

This position is a key managerial role within a team focused on sustainability design and consultancy work, reporting to the Director/Technical Director.

It involves overseeing design projects and administrative tasks related to sustainability, sometimes outside of one's expertise.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead design programs by managing budgets, overseeing engineering concepts, coordinating multiple projects, and ensuring designs meet requirements
  • Collaborate with various professionals to guarantee accurate design and successful project implementation
  • Provide on-site advice during construction phases
  • Plan and execute design projects within financial budgets, showcasing creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain contacts to generate business opportunities, attend coordination meetings, and contribute to long-term planning

Associate Role Summary:
  • Support a key section, discipline, or company initiative
  • Contribute to a Business Plan for their team/initiative
  • Assist in budget management, business development, financial performance, resourcing, and project delivery
  • Coordinate technical developments or market initiatives across the group
  • Uphold quality standards and promote company values

Decisions and Recommendations:
  • Determine effective design program implementation
  • Assess project budgets and feasibility
  • Optimize design methods and solutions for technical challenges
  • Make decisions on work programs, priorities, and delegation of tasks
  • Evaluate designs, reports, and proposals
  • Coordinate team efforts on behalf of superiors
