Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive and President

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support our client's Chief Executive and President, and this role might be the perfect opportunity for you.

The role

The purpose of this Executive Assistant role is to excellent support to both the Chief Executive and President of the organisation, and act as the primary point of contact.

You will work closely with high-level leaders in a busy administrative environment. Your contributions will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the office, and the effectiveness of our client's Chief Executive and President.

You will be responsible for: diary management; drafting briefing papers; efficiently managing schedules; ensuring both senior leaders are well-prepared for meetings, speeches; making travel arrangements.

You will work closely with the Chief of Staff and governance team, ensuring smooth operations within a busy office environment.

As a senior EA you will need to adapt to last-minute changes, solve problems proactively, and ensure the Chief Executive and the President are happy and content with their schedules. You will also liaise with internal colleagues and external partners, ensuring clear and effective communication within the organisation.

The ideal candidate

Our client is looking for a highly organised, reliable and 'calm under pressure' professional - ideally with experience gained from a charity or government setting.

The post holder will be excellent at creating a supportive environment, with brilliant diary management and prioritisation skills.

This role will suit you if you also have:

  • Significant experience of multi-tasking and working to deadlines.
  • High level of IT literacy and good knowledge of all MS Office packages, particularly MS PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience with minute taking and action summaries.
  • The ability to research, collate and assimilate information and process it in an intelligent manner.
  • The ability to identify and anticipate key issues and brief appropriately.
  • The ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations, combined with the ability to maintain a realistic balance amongst multiple conflicting priorities.
