TEACHING ASSISTANTS NEEDED - DERBYSHIRE - IMMEDIATE START
Your new company
This is a school in Derbyshire that provides specialist care and education to children and young adults aged 5-18.
Your new role
The school are looking for Teaching Assistants who can start asap on either a full-time or part-time basis.

You will be working with children and young people with a range of needs including Autism (ASD), Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and Social Emotionaland Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Working alongside other TA's and teaching staff, you will be providing educational support as well as social and emotional support, in a welcoming and positive manner.

This is a challenging but rewarding role whereby buildingmeaningful relationships is key
What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working with children/young people with Special Educational Needs and/or challenging behaviours
  • Experience working with children/young people for at least 40 days in the last 2 years
  • Resilient, calm and empathetic nature
  • Ability to work well under pressure, without taking things personally
  • Due to the location of this setting, you will need a valid driving licence and access to a car
