As a Barclays Court Orders Team Trainer you will play a key role in supporting the operation with short and long term training requirements, creating new training where required and adapting current training in line with changes to policy and / or procedures.

You will analyse trends across the operation to ascertain knowledge gaps and generate training in line with this.

You will also develop our online 'Central Learning Portal' utilising digital content to develop knowledge and ensure a flexible approach is taken to learning and development.

What will you be doing?:

  • Taking accountability for the induction and support accreditation of all new joiners into the operation including line management duties
  • Providing ongoing assistance addressing knowledge gaps based on policy, procedural or system within the team and delivering ongoing training alongside team managers
  • Managing crossskilling and knowledge sharing across the active team
  • Collaborating with team managers and senior leaders to ensure all activity is delivered in accordance with processes, procedures, and the control framework in place
  • Collating and reporting training and performance MI at weekly/monthly senior stakeholder meetings
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful management and delivery of all training requirements
  • Exchanging complex processes to colleagues under training with comprehensive verbal and written communication skills
  • Engaging with senior internal stakeholders up to and including MD to provide comprehensive reporting on the progress of training across the Court Orders Service

What we're looking for:

  • Industry recognised training /Train the Trainer qualification
  • Experience delivering face to face instructor led training across multiple skill sets and grades
  • Excellent Experience in the training cycle, including training needs analysis, training design and delivery across a multisite, and preferably a multicultural, organisation
  • Significant Experience in PowerPoint, Word and Excel to aid with the delivery of training, evidencing and tracking of performance

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Experience of using digital platforms to create online, interactive training materials
  • Knowledge of the Court orders process and how it impacts financial institutions
  • Ability to develop an excellent knowledge of relevant systems that are utilised by the team when servicing a court order
  • Significant Experience of evaluating and then simplifying complex information to ensure that the full range of training services are delivered in a clear and concise manner

Where will you be working?

Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997.

We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton.

Plans to further develop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
