YOUR ROLE


Our Showfreight Operation is looking for an Events and Exhibitions Placement Student based at our site in Birmingham, NEC where you will support our award-winning events and logistics team operating across the global tradeshow industry.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?


Showfreight provide a one-stop logístical shop and work with both event organisers and exhibitors where our dedicated team of specialists arrange all aspects of event logistics including transportation, customs clearance, onsite handling and storage.

Our Services cover all event types from exhibitions to product launches, sports events, daily movement of time-critical shipments including prototype vehicles, full-scale aircraft replica models, hi-tech demo equipment and wind turbines, right through to pop up stands and brochures.


This placement opportunity will provide you with an insight into domestic events covering core business, international teams dealing with customs and freight movements, business development (sales) and contact with our current and prospective customers, business process excellence and innovation including project work, HSEQ (health, safety, environmental, quality), and general administration covering housekeeping and processes for all events and any internal processes.


Standard office hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm however, events and shows happen 365 days a year therefore flexibility will be required.

Some of our events do take place overseas, so this may be required.
