Skills / Experience

  • Sufficient functional and business awareness to become an effective technical support to functional analysts and developers
  • A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise own workload within demanding schedules
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Able to take ownership of problems and requests as well as the ability to work in a pressurised environment
  • Excellent technical computing, analysis, design, and development skills to a proven professional level.
  • Solid experience in C#,.Net Core.
  • Solid understanding of databases such as: SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.
  • Good knowledge on Database queries.
  • Hands on experience on Azure DevOps and CI/CD.

Key Accountabilities

  • Delivering product backlog items across the endtoend products as part of an agile in a DevOps environment.
  • Setting priorities and managing systems maintenance activities, by guiding the process of detailed technical planning.
  • Ensuring user requirements are comprehensive, analysed and enabling the desired outcome.
  • Undertaking complex systems designs and leading the development process within the multidisciplinary teams to undertake detailed analysis and coding activities.
  • Coding programs according to industry standards and specifications.
  • Creating SQL queries according to the business requirement for reporting.
  • Developing test plans and test data and conducting tests.

Experience

  • Experience from a similar support or development role in supporting business critical systems in a medium/large organisation
