What you'll do

  • Part of a rota of Technical Event Leads to provide 24 by 7 support; take ownership of complex and high severity faults when required.
  • Provide a point of escalation for realtime issues, lapsetime investigations and assume the lead during Major Incidents.
  • Supporting the Event Technical Lead role in daytoday activities
  • Work closely with Vodafone and Customer Technical teams to represent the customer's interests internally.
  • To work with the Customer Operations Manager to support customer requests at site, ensuring that the relevant processes are adhered to.
  • Support technical requirements at all levels and across all ITIL processes and functions, providing direct technical liaison for the customer where required.

Who you are

  • Experience managing Major Incidents & Projects.
  • Knowledge and experience of ITIL best practices.
  • A recognized networking qualification such as TCP/IP
  • Indepth technical knowledge of Vodafone products and services.
  • Indepth intimate knowledge of customer services.
  • Indepth knowledge of BAU operational support teams within the business.
  • Experience of supporting the customer's inlife technical requirements into Vodafone while considering KPIs, SLAs and longterm objectives etc.
  • Ability to produce quality documentation.
