up to £23,000 (dependant on experience)

  • Competent and prompt diary Sales Ledger system
  • Assist with Query reduction and resolution
  • Minimise bad debt position within the organisation
  • Credit checking of new and existing customers of Experian & Tinubu to set credit limits and establish exposure & risk to the organisation to minimise bad debt
  • Assisting Accounts Receivable Seniors with bespoke/key accounts by way of liaising with internal account managers and customers to maintain good customer practices and relationships
  • Setup new record of account on M3 and advise Rental locations and KAM's
  • Maintain account log
  • Use M3 system to control overdue/overtrading accounts
  • Assisting with reporting on outstanding debtors and overtrading on Sales Ledger

Ad-Hoc Duties

  • On occasions there will be the requirement to complete other work appropriate to your role or encompassing the Finance function
  • Assistance with daily payments via BAC's/Cheque, as required
  • Allocation of payments made via the system, as required
  • Assistance with direct debit payments, as required

Knowledge

  • GCSE A-C Maths/English qualification or equivalent is essential, AS/A level Maths preferred
  • High level of Credit Control knowledge
  • Knowledge of the Lawson system would be of benefit
  • Highly IT literate with excellent attention to detail

Skills

  • Good interpersonal and influencing skills and a logical and rational approach to problem solving
  • Excellent communication and telephone skills
  • The ability to build relationships with Internal and External customers
  • Display an organised approach to work and able to prioritise workload meeting strict deadlines

Experience

  • Credit Control experience
  • Experience in an Accounts Receivable Clerk position
