Working as an integral member of the People team you will help to deliver professional, pragmatic and commercially focused HR solutions to employees across the business.

The successful candidate will need to enjoy building effective working relationships with employees at all levels, providing advice and guidance on all people related issues including ER and performance management as well as coach and support Managers with more complex issues.

Responsibilities include, (but are not limited to):

  • Provide support / guidance to Managers on appraisals / performance management, employment legislation, discipline / grievances. Delivering successful end-to-end management of employee relations caseload, advising on cases at all levels of complexity.
  • Coach, train, and support Managers to enable efficient absence management.
  • Research and recommend new initiatives and provide administrative support to deliver these e.g., wellbeing and engagement.
  • Ensure all data on HRIS is accurate and up to date.
  • Support the recruitment of new employees – covering all aspects from authorisation to offer.
  • Actively participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement activities
  • Implement and improve policies, procedures and processes within HR
  • Coach and influence stakeholders on their commercial options and solutions whilst constantly driving accountability.

To be considered for this opportunity we would expect the successful candidate to be qualified to minimum CIPD level 5 and have at least 4 years HR experience with a good working knowledge of current employment law. You will also be a pragmatic individual with an ability to work on your own initiative with a 'can do' attitude.
