Key responsibilities of this Insurance Sales Consultant role:
- Proactively prospect and generate new leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, and cold calling.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client's insurance requirements and recommend suitable products and coverage.
- Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and value of our insurance offerings to prospective clients.
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and quotes, addressing client needs and objectives.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and claims departments, to ensure smooth policy issuance and seamless client experience.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall success and growth of the organisation.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate sales records and reports.
The Successful Applicant:
Key requirements for this Insurance Sales Consultant role:
- Proven track record of success in insurance sales or a similar consultative sales role.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, including personal lines and commercial insurance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Persuasive and influential sales abilities, with a demonstrated capability to close deals and overcome objections.
- Resultsdriven mindset with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tools to track and manage sales activities.
- Relevant industry certifications or qualifications (e.g., CII) are advantageous but not mandatory.
