Production Administrator
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Administrator to work for one of the largest regional newspaper publishers at its Weymouth Print Centre.
This is a key position within the company and through your hard work and commitment will insure the smooth running of the production department.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the production scheduling and information process.
- Input job details into the platemaking workflow system.
- Order production materials, consumables, and services.
- Update staff attendance records, organise staff training, and book occupational monitoring services.
- Routinely gather and update production records, compile data and generate reports.
Skills/Attributes:
- Previous administration experience ideally within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Have a strong attention to detail with good organisational skills.
- Manage own workload.
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal).
- Excellent management skills.
- Innovative thinker.
- Friendly, approachable, and flexible a team player.
- Professional.
- Proactive, positive, enthusiastic demonstrates "can do" attitude.
- Commercially aware.
