About The Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join the team at our prestigious Central London surgery - Elizabeth Street Veterinary Clinic
We pride ourselves on our commitment to providing the very best veterinary care while creating a warm and welcoming environment for our teams, our patients and their owners.
You'll assist them with scheduling appointments, answering inquiries and providing general support.
This is a Full-Time position, working 40 hours per week with 1:3 weekends (TOIL for weekends worked)
Your day at Elizabeth Street could include:
- Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival
- Book appointments and arrivals on the RX Works diary
- Help to promote our Healthcare Plan so that pets are receiving premium discounted preventative treatment Booking in follow up appointments for the pet once they have left their initial consultation
- Help the Vet and Nurse team with queries
- Being responsible for paperwork being scanned onto pets digital records
- Liaison with clients regarding queries for appointment booking and medication collection
- Ordering food and medication
About You Ideally you will have:
- Previous Experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within the Veterinary or Medical Industry
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational abilities and be able to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service Be proficient in computer systems and software, having experience using RxWorks is a MASSIVE plus

Claire Baker joined Alan and Dane as a Director in 2019, originally arriving at the main London hospital in 2013 as a locum.
Claire heads up the Group's operations and vet team recruitment.
