About the Role:

As an Engineering Team Leader at our Leeds site, you'll play a crucial role in managing a team of Engineers dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the efficiency of our machinery. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading an engineering shift team to cultivate a high-performance culture
  • Planning and organizing shift workload to maximize machinery uptime
  • Executing planned maintenance schedules to minimize disruptions
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and maintaining a safe work environment
  • Overseeing adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMP)
  • Documenting shift activities and performance accurately

Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 off, including nights.

What We're Seeking:

To thrive in this role, you should:
  • Hold a mechanical or electrical engineering qualification
  • Have knowledge of permit systems, risk assessments, and method statements
  • Possess supervisory experience
  • Demonstrate practical fault-finding skills on various machinery
  • Show awareness of PLC systems and fault-finding abilities
