Job Title: Engineering Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of engineers, scheduling planned preventative maintenance, and mentoring and developing your team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise a team of engineers to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively
  2. Schedule planned preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal production levels
  3. Mentor and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge
  4. Ensure that all team members are aware of and adhere to safety protocols and procedures
  5. Conduct fault finding and repair electrical and mechanical components
  6. Replace parts as needed to maintain optimal production levels
  7. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A recognized electrical or mechanical qualification (e.g. apprenticeship, NVQ level 3, BTEC, ONC, C&G, HNC, HND)
  2. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the FMCG sector
  3. A positive can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
