Angus Dundee Distillers currently has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Sustainability Coordinator to join us at our Production site in Coatbridge.

Our company supplies high quality bottled product worldwide. We are a long established business that has grown steadily over many decades. We have a manufacturing facility which meets the on-going and increasing demand from our customers.

This will be a 12 month Graduate Trainee Position with the potential of being extended after the 12 months.

You will be reporting to the Projects team and Operations Director with regular progress updates will be provided to the senior management team.

  • Excellent hours of work: between 7.45am and 4.45pm, Monday to Thursday and 7.45am2.30pm on Fridays (working outwith these hours may be needed where required by the business).

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability practices, renewable energy technologies, and energy efficiency measures.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and sustainability reporting tools.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Overview of your 12 months:

Months 1-3: Conduct a baseline assessment of current sustainability practices and carbon footprint.

Months 4-6: Develop a detailed sustainability strategy and action plans.

Months 7-12: Implement initial sustainability projects and track progress.

Success Criteria:

  • Achievement of intermediate milestones towards netzero targets.
  • Reduction in Scope 3 emissions.
  • Demonstrable improvements in energy efficiency.
  • Increased percentage of energy consumption from renewable sources.
  • Positive stakeholder feedback and enhanced company reputation in sustainability.
