We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Post Room team to support us in providing an effective and efficient Post Room service at New Cross Hospital.
Previous hospital experience is not essential but experience of carrying out similar duties is desirable.Hous of work are 1300 to 1700, Monday to Friday.
To work within the Post room team delivering Medical notes, post and small packages around trust sites in an efficient manor, ensuring confidentiality of items is maintained.

To work as a member of the Post room team to assist with the daily tasks required to maintain a speedy and efficient movement of post and medical notes around the Trust.
To make judgements involving straightforward facts or situations, e.g. investigate problems with lost items, reporting equipment failure and stock issues.
To organise your own day to day work tasks or activities to ensure service levels are achieved in order to ensure post for Trust patients, meets timescales required.
To ensure safe use, of all work equipment and environment is maintained - e.g. franking machine, trolley's etc. - following standard operating procedures.
To explain and demonstrate own duties to new starters.
To monitor and report on post levels and ensuring that these are correctly stored in line with Trust information governance.
To participate in audits as required, and Trust surveys.
To work within clearly defined procedures using own initiative on routine matters, with supervision available.
To wear full uniform as issued and maintain personal appearance and hygiene at a standard commensurate with the duties and role of the post.
