Full Job Description

Job Title - Support Worker - Young People

Location - Montgomery, Powys

Salary - £12.00 per hour, plus block payment of £60 for each sleep ins

Shift Pattern:

  • 8am to 11pm
  • 11pm to 8am (sleepin)
  • 11pm to 8am (wake nights, if required)
You will need to be flexible to cover all shifts, days, nights & weekends

Contract - 24 hour contract + Overtime

6 Month Probation Period

To be a successful Support Worker with Nurtured Future Living, you'll need:

  • *
  • Excellent understanding of safeguarding
  • Flexibility to work shifts 12 hour shifts, sleep in shifts and alternate weekends
  • Hold NVQ/Diploma or equivalent in Children & Young people or any related qualifications within Children & Young people or supported living.
  • Ideally over 2 year experience working with either children or young people or within a supported living environment.
  • Driver with a full UK driving licence is preferred
  • Well written and comprehensive record keeping


Please make a note that you may be asked to work across our other provisions within and around the surrounding areas.


  • C_ontracts state that we will pay for their initial DBS check after that it is their responsibility to either join the update service or pay for a new certificate upon renewal date (every 2 years)._
