Maintenance Assistant

We are in search of a skilled Maintenance Assistant to handle various general maintenance, decorating, carpentry, service, and repair tasks across all areas of the Hotel. The role is diverse and due to the hotel's size and nature, it requires someone with good physical fitness. A versatile individual with plumbing and basic electrics knowledge is essential.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm (including a 1/2 hour unpaid break) - 40 hours per week.
- Saturdays on rotation basis (approximately every 4/5 weeks), compensated by taking another day off during the week.
- Assist and support the Head of Maintenance/Deputy Head of Maintenance to maintain the maintenance schedule and fulfill all department tasks.
- Hands-on approach to all maintenance tasks in the Hotel and wider estate.
- Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines.
- Skilled in various trade skills and general maintenance like painting, decorating, plumbing, and basic electrics.
- Effective time management and task prioritization abilities.
- Logical and meticulous in task execution.
- Capable of multitasking and adapting to changing priorities.
- Customer-oriented mindset for internal and external interactions.
