We have a brilliant opportunity for a Planner to join our team The role sits within the Activity Management team that forms part of Marketing Operations, with a specific focus on channel execution.

In Marketing Operations,

As a Project Planner you will enable production of press & out of home artwork requirements, to ensure activity lands on brand & on time.

For example, if you see an Asda press advert in a newspaper, in a magazine or even on huge out of home formats that have a high footfall, there's a high chance you will have been part of the execution behind this activity


It's an exciting role that will work closely with our internal campaign teams to ensure all milestones are hit to enable smooth and timely delivery of printed artwork and digital files.

You will also be responsible for;

  • Briefing activity (using our internal system, Workfront) into the Studio 368 print team with a speciality for Press & OOH execution, ensuring all information is present and accurate before brief takes place to limit amends.
  • Setting up campaigns on Specle, to allow all artwork to be supplied to the relevant publication houses seamlessly
  • Completing a weekly RAG reporting & analysis on campaign efficiency using Workfront, to influence improvement within the workstream
  • Management of internal stakeholders to deliver results efficiently, collating feedback from all teams and effectively briefing amends to studio teams for correct output
  • Working with our design experts to brief in press templates that are in line with key campaign moments
  • Ensuring artwork has full approval of marketing materials before sending to print
  • Coordination and management of critical paths across all managed projects
  • Supporting Activity Planning Manager to ensure process is regularly reviewed to ensure efficiencies and improvements in Ways of Working.
  • Supporting the team on other artwork requirements we like to ensure all team members can flex across all areas, so that we can always support each other on the delivery of our business priorities.
  • Escalation of potential or high risk issues to Activity Planning Manager.
