Training and Recruitment Administrator

What you'll do:

  • Liaising with HR and Recruitment to support all activities for the recruitment and induction of trainee and PCV drivers. Ensuring contact is kept with trainees throughout their licence acquisition experience,supporting the booking of theory and practicaltests.
  • Arrange all new driver DBS, Medical and Theory test bookings when required.
  • Regularly consult with suppliers and be able to make payments, raise purchase orders to replenish training materials and upload fees for Driver CPC courses and Trainee driver training.
  • Maintain training records (e.g. trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets, compliance documentation).
  • Provide support on all driver assessment centre days
  • Produce and provide feedback data of delegates on all driver training courses and recruitment including Driver CPC and Trainee line manager and relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Upload data in line with the Driver CPC legislation (DVSA and JAUPT) with regards training course attendance and driving licence detail, which is imperative to maintain the legality of all the driving staff licences.
  • Produce and provide statistical evidence regarding how many training courses (including Driver CPC) are delivered.
  • Liaise with all trainers on a daily basis regarding the delivery of initial driver training and Driver CPC courses and the recording of driver details as required by JAUPT legislation reporting any lateness or no shows as well as any delegates who do notarrive with the correct documentation to attend to relevant stakeholders.
  • File and record all digital and hard copy data of attendance on all driver courses including Driver CPC in line with data protection, company standards and JAUPT legislation.
  • Update and provide all training materials needed to JAUPT when required to accredit and reapprove Driver CPC courses or for the purposes of auditing current Driver CPC courses.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including JAUPT and the DVSA on legislation updates and attend regular workshops / meetings with the relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate training initiatives, support the development of new training programs
  • Provide support in all administration functions within the Training Department when required
