We are currently recruiting for a Sales Operations Director to join our team in London.


Partnering primarily with our Chief Revenue Officer & Commercial Leadership Team, this is a new role created to support the fast growth the business is experiencing, with an initial focus on sales, marketing productivity and GTM insight and consolidating sales and marketing, executive and board reporting.

You will believe strongly in the power that training, oversight and the adoption of best practice can provide to a motivated GTM team.


The vision for the team at FE fundinfo is to be able to engage at a holistic level in the business being able to design, develop and implement sales, account management, customer success tools, processes and workflows creating efficient ways of working to maximise commercial output.


You will lead a pan European team with direct reports in UK, Luxembourg and Switzerland and be able to engage with key stakeholders across the globe.


Your key responsibilities as Sales Operations Director include:

  • Creating insight and ensuring execution across the full sales process including Total Addressable Market analysis, pipeline development, and conversion, forecasting & opportunity management
  • Driving sales productivity in partnership with the sales and marketing leaders to optimise team performance and GTM success by surfacing key performance indicators and business insights.
  • Enabling measurement and reporting at a geographic, product and solution level partnering with sales, marketing and product leaders.
  • Support the customer success process, enabling client level insight at account and cohort level increasing customer satisfaction and minimising churn.
  • Enhance and industrialise reporting and critically insight for quarterly business reviews, Executive Leadership Team and board reporting. Be that trend analysis or other insights.
  • Business planning, supporting the creation of annual and 3 year sales plans marrying product plans, territory plans and quota and headcount allocation.
  • Optimising territory planning, sales quota and compensation plans
  • Pipeline, forecast reporting, and conversion metrics and insight.
  • Enabling new product and GTM initiatives to be measured and provide insights in market penetration and speed of progression.
  • Partnering with finance and legal teams to ensure high client satisfaction and efficiency execution of the contracting, close and billing process.
  • Driving sales efficiency by ensuring best practice across pipeline management and client engagement

To join us as Sales Operations Director you will need the following experience and skills:

  • You will have excellent business acumen, be able to understand and challenge the why, as well as the how, and have the ability to align technical concepts & features to business needs.
  • You will have a track record of implementing world class sales effectiveness programs and metrics.
  • You will have experience running and analysing a sales pipeline, with the ability to communicate how and why you would track certain key metrics.
  • You will have excellent communication skills, with experience of producing reporting and presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • You will have experience of interpreting data and what it means from a strategic perspective.
  • You will have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and drive change programs.
  • You will have an excellent understanding of CRM software with particular focus on analytics and reporting expertise.
  • You will be a natural leader, and have the ability to develop and mentor team members to achieve outcomes and develop their skillsets.
  • You will have a understanding of best practise sales and marketing automation technology with a view to enhancing or augmenting current sales platforms and practise.
  • You will be a dynamic individual, who is always looks for ways to improve and is proactive, whether that be better processes or better ways of achieving team goals.
