They get deeply involved in the clients commercial management departments in providing Cost Assurance services to help support customers Set-Up of systems & processes, Application for Payment (AfP) "Health Check" using data to review invoice payment terms, compliance of contracts, cost verification, cost visualisation, forensic reviews, offering continuous improvements.
Working for a dynamic, driven Consultancy company needs you to be flexible. The role is expected to be 2-3 days per week in Bristol or Cardiff, 2 days working from home.As the Cost Assurance Expert you'll be experienced in Cost Assurance, Supply Chain Assurance, Contract Compliance and Continuous Improvement.

Review construction contractor systems, controls and processes to provide a view on their ways of working, using intelligence from around the industry to build a view on best practice.
Analysis and understanding of complex construction contracts.Plan financial audits by understanding our Clients' objectives and risk areas, as well as the supply chains' structure, policies and processes
Performing testing of data and information using smart techniques and tools such as data visualisation and trend / pattern analysis.
Fostering good quality working relationships with clients and those being reviewed built around trust and professionalism.Assisting the maintenance of internal systems to make sure commission and financial management is compliant with business process.
Data analysis - ability to review and draw insights from large quantities of data in various formats
Report writing - communicating complex messages succinctly to maximise impact
Construction industry technical matters - such as disallowed cost areas, calculation of pain/gain amounts etc.
Contract Management - NEC3/4 (Option C, E) preferred
