DESCRIPTION DU POSTE

Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a
Finance Business Partner to work at our customers site in Derby on a months contract basis.

The Finance business partner will report to a Senior Finance Business Partner. The role is one of the 4 finance BPs and the role will have operational and customer involvement.

Role details:

Role title - Finance Business Partner
Contract duration months
Contract type - PAYE via Umbrella - INSIDE IR35
Hours - 37 hours Days (overtime achievable)
Location - Derby

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Working with Senior Management Teams to ensure that business meets/beats the financial commitments. Identifying drivers and connections of the business performance
  • Working with the business area in the development of business plans/cases and investment requests as required
  • Working with the business in development of financial and commercial strategy for new work/contract renewals, including the transition to more risk based contracts and operating under Single Source Contracting Regulations. Financial evaluation of Business Evaluation Forms
  • Producing business forecasts that are balanced, challenging and supported by coherent assumptions
  • Ensuring contract reviews meet governance requirements and challenge business performance
  • Regular interface with Customer through provision of any other performance reviews. Providing support to ensure safeguarding of customer assets as required
  • Ensuring cost claims cost certificates/cost rates are provided as required and support any necessary justifications to auditors

PROFIL

Skills and experience required for this role:

  • Understanding of drivers that optimise business performance
  • Developing understanding of business strategy and external environment
  • Capable of interfacing with customer
  • Capable knowledge of business risk management
  • Extensive knowledge of business planning, reporting and control
  • Experienced with accounted standards
