The Vacancy

About You

Do you have at least 2 years' experience of providing IT services and support relating to existing standard applications and infrastructure, as well as managing and fulfilling requests for service? Are you technically competent and able to support the IT delivery function? Are you organised, customer service & process orientated, a conscientious team player with high level of self & team motivation and able to work to tight deadlines with the ability to multitask?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Information Technology team an IT Service Desk Analyst.

The Role

The Service Desk provides the first point of contact for all IT related issues and requests.

General responsibilities will include:

  • Incident management
  • Request management
  • Knowledge management
  • Asset management
  • Continual Service Improvement, adopting ITIL best practices where appropriate
  • Daily System Checks
  • Process Documentation
  • End User Documentation
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to:
    • IT Usage Policy
    • Health & Safety Policy
  • Fulfil and complete personal objectives as assigned by the Head of IT Service Desk

Your Attributes

You will be:

  • Be organised, customer service & process orientated
  • Be methodical and analytical with a keen eye for detail and have an intuitive nature
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of personal integrity.
  • Able to work for extended periods of time, with regular short breaks, with a computer screen.

Desirable Qualifications

  • ITIL v3 Foundation qualified
  • MCP certified
