We're seeking a future team member for the role of Transfers & Wrapper Associate to join our Pershing Operations team.

Pershing provides a broad range of financial business solutions to investment banks, broker-dealers, wealth managers, financial planners and advisers across EMEA.

We provide sophisticated front-end technology and flexible middle office capabilities with execution, settlement and custody services. These are supported by a robust regulatory and compliance framework with dedicated client asset experience and expertise. This role is located in Liverpool and is hybrid.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Process transfers in or transfers out of an account portfolio (ISA/GIA/OSB/SIPP) either from or to another account provider. Transfers will liaise with the counter party to onboard/off-board the assets, input stock expectations/instructions, deal with all incoming and outgoing cash payments, and deal with all transfer paperwork. Track & process settlement of all transfers to completion and provide reporting to Clients to track progress.
  • Responsible for undertaking all aspects of ISA and general administration including new business processing, ongoing servicing, outgoing payments, incoming payments, subscriptions, static data, account opening/closing, deceased.
  • Performs complex operational tasks in a product or functional area. Conducts independent analysis and policy interpretation. Performs complex processing of updates to client accounts or company records.
  • Executes client requisites in a timely and accurate manner with an understanding of the underlying business and specific client needs.
  • Maintains correspondent accounts in accordance with applicable regulations and policies, ensuring regulatory compliance and minimizing exposure related to assigned processing tasks.
  • Identifies, investigates and resolves problems in client accounts or company records.
  • Provides product knowledge and technical assistance, determining when the more complex problems should be referred to a supervisor or senior professional.
  • May be responsible for allocating and checking work of other team members. May be responsible for specific supervisory review and approval actions.
  • Responsible for the quality and completion of own work.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Knowledge of Account Transfers, including electronic transfers
  • Knowledge of SIPP regulations
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience of testing and working within a project team
  • Experience of workload oversight and approvals
  • Good attention to detail, prioritisation and time management required
  • Client focused with a willingness to understand and assist with client queries. Ability to manage and answer queries in relation to the end to end transfer process both manual and electronic. Experience working in a financial services regulated environment desirable
