I have a fantastic opportunity working for a Global Technology business who are looking to recruit a newly qualified Financial Accountant to join their growing business.

This role would ideally suit a newly qualified accountant, currently working in practice and looking for their first move into industry

Salary:
£55,000 plus excellent benefits including hybrid working model and fantastic company culture.
The Financial Accountant is a key member of the finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager they will focus on the continuous improvement of the day-to-day activities with a particular focus on statutory reporting.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Quarterly Reporting in accordance with prescribed deadlines and procedures
  • Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Managing Accruals, Prepayments and Depreciation
  • Posting of relevant journal entries (IFRS 9, IFRS 16)


 Providing information to:
  • Group Auditors
  • Local Auditors
  • Internal Auditors
  • Liaising and providing all relevant information to the external accountants for the preparation of the Year End Statutory Accounts
  • Preparation of all Statutory Forms, Resolutions, Documents in respect of filing the annual accounts

Key requirements:

  • ACCA/ACA Qualified
- confident and enthusiastic team player
- excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- strong analytical and process-oriented mind
- advanced process documentation and Excel skills (vlookups/pivot tables)
