We are a refrigerated courier company based in
Mitcham CR4, London, so someone local would be prefered. The job will start between midnight and 3am depending on workload and finish around 8am. It will be a mixed between home deliveries and commercial deliveries. Mon

  • Fri. The salary is based on 40h per week worked over 5 days. Some days might be 10h shift and some might be 6h, you will not work more than 40h in total.

Duties:

  • Drive a long wheel base Mercedes Sprinter van to transport goods between locations
  • Load and unload goods, including heavy lifting when required
  • Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to designated locations
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving licence with experience in commercial driving
  • Proven experience as van driver minimum 3 years
  • Ability to lift heavy items when loading and unloading the van
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Age needs to be over 25 for insurance purposes
