Job Purpose:


In this key role, you will be based from our Warehouse/Office site in Pocklington and be an integral part of a small team, being the first point of contact for all Sundstrom enquiries.


You will be responsible for the Sundstrom product within the warehouse - ensuring the process for goods in and out is managed effectively.

Trial kit orders will be processed accurately and on time.

Be the key contact for all Sundstrom on-site training, ensuring product, training resources are prepared.

Be the site champion for Sundstrom and their products - carry out site tours for potential end users.

Key Accountabilities:

As we are a small team, your role will be extremely varied.

Taking lead responsibility for all Sundstrom product, trial kits and training, the role will include:

Warehouse Duties:

  • Picking trial kit orders from our warehouse
  • Be responsible for packing the order using appropriate materials, using packing materials efficiently to reduce waste, ensuring product is safe and ready for transit, i.e. able to accurately weigh, calculate shipping costs, confidently organise transport with third party suppliers
  • Be responsible for receiving goods into the warehouse accurately checking delivery notes and accurately adding stock to SAGE
  • Unloading the product and being responsible for putting away in assigned areas
  • Maintain stock levels communicating shortages & stock discrepancies
  • Be part of regular stock checks

Sundstrom Account Management & Academy:

  • Respectfully and safely use warehouse machinery
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping in both Warehouse & Office areas
  • Work adhering to site Health & Safety policies at all times
  • Any other duties that may reasonably requested by your Line Manager

Skills and Experience Required:

No specific previous experience required as full training will be provided.

However the following personal attributes are essential:

  • First class communication skills able to effectively communicate with customers, supplier and colleagues
  • PC literate (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent time management
  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • Hard working and diligent adopting a "can do, positive" attitude

  • Flexible and willing to learn new skills
  • A willingness to take on new responsibility and make continuous improvements
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules & regulations in place
  • Be physically able to climb ladders and lift boxes

The following skills would be an advantage:

  • Experience of working within a Warehouse environment
  • SAGE knowledge
  • Customer service experience & skills
