Head of Health & Safety: The Head of Health & Safety plays a crucial role in overseeing the country coordination for the implementation of health and safety, business continuity management, and security strategic priorities in a comprehensive manner. Providing guidance, coaching, and technical support across all company functions is essential, ensuring robust compliance with company requirements and fostering sustainable implementations.
The key responsibilities of the Head of Health & Safety are:
- Guiding, coaching, and orienting the country leadership team and contacts on local health and safety programs and initiatives.
- Implementing Health & Safety Management Systems effectively, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement.
- Identifying, assessing, and managing occupational health and safety risks throughout the value chain and actively participating in problem-solving activities.
- Developing and adapting standards, guidance materials, and training programs to align with the AEI Health & Safety strategy.
- Monitoring progress and reporting periodically to country leadership and AEI using relevant performance indicators.
- Driving the professional development of health and safety professionals across the country and collaborating with other countries and AEI leadership to establish a robust professional support network.
- Advising on Capex related to health and safety projects and contributing to the coordination of international standards ISO 45001 certifications.
A focus on safety: With a comprehensive background in health and safety management, strong knowledge of risk management, and fluency in English, the perfect candidate for this role will have:
- 3+ years of experience as a Health & Safety manager in a complex production plant and warehouses, preferably with multi-location experience.
- Approximately 5+ years of experience in driving cultural change and providing training in Health & Safety.
- Around 5+ years of experience in risk management, business continuity management, and security.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
