To be a member of the phlebotomy team providing a patient friendly service as required over a 6-day week between the hours of 07:30 and 17:00.
Phlebotomists will be expected to provide a helpful and professional service to patients and healthcare staff within the Trust and primary care.
The individual will be responsible for ensuring that the blood specimens are taken in a manner that does not cause undue anxiety to the patient.
Concentration, accuracy and attention to detail are essential in this position and the post holder will ensure that all relevant policies and Health and Safety protocols are adhered to.

We provide a Phlebotomy service across all our sites caring for patients on our wards those that attend our outpatients services and in several outlying GP Surgeries.
Having a blood test done is often an essential step in a patients diagnosis or treatment and the care we give makes a real difference to this journey.
