Part of that vision is to be able to provide blood testing.Therefore we are looking for a self employed phlebotomist to provide occasional blood samples at a time that is convenient for you.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood samples from patients
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and ensure proper labeling and documentation
- Follow established protocols and procedures for specimen collection and handling
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of biohazardous materials
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort during the phlebotomy process
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely specimen collection

- Certification or diploma in Phlebotomy or a related field
- Proven experience as a Phlebotomist in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment
- Proficient in performing venipuncture, capillary puncture, and catheterization techniques
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling patient information
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
