Company Overview:


We are the leading specialists in the South of the UK in the niche market of lock-up garage blocks for self-storage & parking.

We provide a complete package to landlords including rent collection, lettings and maintenance.

We operate throughout London and the south of England for a variety of clients ranging from Grainger Plc (largest residential landlord in the UK), and Network Rail down to small private investors.

We have a small overall office-based team of 6, plus our on-site maintenance teams. We have experienced continued growth year-on-year recently and have ambitious plans for the business.

The Role:


We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated team-player looking to join our office-based customer service team of 3, to be a first point of contact for customers, taking inbound calls, dealing and responding to enquiries and providing administrative support to the office.

This role is particularly suited to someone with experience in a contact/call centre.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

Carry out reasonable duties as directed which includes but is not limited to:

  • Confidently providing the first point of contact with regard incoming phone calls to the office, dealing with queries and directing the calls as necessary.
  • Perform data entry tasks to update customer records and maintain accurate documentation
  • Managing and updating our online adverts on classified websites
  • Responding to enquiries through our adverts and advising prospective customers of availability on our sites, searching for the most suitable/nearest site to them.
  • Upload contractors' insurance renewal certificates, reports, communications etc
  • Obtaining contractor quotations and estimates for maintenance and repairs as required
  • Provide a range of office related duties and administration e.g. first aid awareness, ordering equipment/stationary
  • Assist the team with making outbound calls for outstanding payments as required
  • Responsibility with the team for hitting the monthly lettings target, through ensuring that prospective tenants/customers are followed up methodically, waiting lists proactively monitored, adverts online and our website are maintained uptodate etc
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and the development of processes and good practice.
  • You must be well presented and be courteous and polite to clients, contractors and work colleagues at all times.

Requirements/Qualities:

  • Must be a team player, willing to work well in a small team/ business
  • Ability to comfortably and confidently handle incoming calls with a good telephone manner
  • Able to deal with difficult calls /problems effectively and professionally, calmly & politely
  • Be willing and able to assist with a variety of administrative tasks within the office
  • Have good communication and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work well and remain calm under pressure.
  • Be familiar with Microsoft office, able to learn how to use our IT system
  • Be an adaptable and flexible person
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office inc Outlook, Excel & Word
  • Well organised with the ability find solutions & solve problems
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritise workload effectively
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication, interpersonal and telephone skills

Salary:
£25,000.00 per year
