Role Description:

A role exists for a highly motivated, dedicated professional within the Bank of America Exchange Traded Derivatives team.The role is specifically for a Markets Support Analyst within the EMEA group in Chester, UK. This role will support Regional Market coverage between the hours of 11am and 7pm with one shift of 4pm until midnight once in every 3 Fridays.

The Global team are responsible for trade clearing and position management of activity on 35 Clearing Houses covering 83 Exchanges for a broad range of clients. The operation comprises of Clearing, Deliveries, Reconciliations, Regulatory and Clearing Strategy teams. This structure is replicated regionally in Chicago and Singapore, partnering closely with our Global Business Service teams based out of Hyderabad and Gurgaon.

Responsibilities Include:

  • You will support clearing and Trade processing activities.
  • You will respond to exceptions raised by Internal stakeholders.
  • You will process exchanges via vendor middleware tools and exchange interfaces.
  • You will be involved in exception handling, static data maintenance and management of trade lifecycle events including position transfer processing and open interest management.
  • You will facilitate the physical delivery of Fixed Income, Equity and Commodity products.
  • You will support ongoing upgrades and testing driven by Exchange, Regulatory or strategically mandated change agenda.

What we are looking for:

  • You will ideally have experience of working within an Operational role supporting a Global Markets business.
  • You will identify and implement solutions for process improvement.
  • You will have knowledge of the FIS suite of products (e.g., GMI, FIS Trade Clear) beneficial.

Additional Skills:

  • Excellent communication and the ability to manage relationships with peers and senior management.
  • Futures and Options knowledge is an advantage.
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Understand and adapt to regulatory and industry change (EMIR, Client Assets, MiFID working knowledge)
