Barista/waitress

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee beverages.

Duties:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Operate coffee brewing equipment and maintain cleanliness and maintenance of machines
• Ensure accurate cash handling and process transactions using the pointofsale system
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards in the preparation of food items
• Assist with food preparation, such as baking pastries or assembling sandwiches
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing any concerns
• Upsell additional products or menu items to enhance the guest experience

Skills:

• Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling and measuring ingredients
• Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest services
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
• Culinary skills for food preparation and presentation
• Ability to work well in a teamoriented setting
• Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is preferred

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Salary:
£10.00-£10.50 per hour
