The post holder is responsible for ESR Data administration of work structures and inputting and updating key workforce information and producing relevant and accurate workforce information to support delivery of key workforce intelligence.

To work within the HR team to expand the scope and ensure the quality and accuracy of ESR data for use across the organisation and external agencies

Ensure a culture of respect and professionalism is developed within the team

Strive towards supporting the professional and personal development of all members of the Workforce System Team as individuals and as a whole team

Ensure all members of the team are valued and respected and have the opportunity for their views to be heard for reporting requirements and Team dynamics


The Workforce Information team are responsible for the management and deployment of the Trusts workforce systems, and provision of workforce information to meet internal and external reporting requirements.


The team provides expertise in the utilisation of systems to ensure the Trust is deploying its workforce in the most effective way.

We are a forward thinking, proactive team, ensuring that requirements for workforce reporting are achieved.


We work and communicate as part of the team ensuring all members are kept up to date with what is going on throughout the organisation.

Extensive use of common IT products & technologies for office productivity tasks

Organise and manage meetings as required, producing appropriate documentation to professional standards

Display high levels of technical proficiency in your area of responsibility

Maintain documentation and systems within your area of responsibility

Collect, collate, analyse and produce workforce information

Data input of starters / leaver and change of circumstance forms

Ensuring data alignment with other systems such as Rosterpro / Agresso / NMC

Administration of access rights and password updates for SDHCT/TSDHCT ESR users

Gather, analyse, interpret and present extensive data information accurately

Monitor quality and quantity of data information and implement data integrity checks

Carry out work in a manner that maintains and promotes quality

Interpret, appraise and synthesise data and information identifying consistency and inconsistency in outcomes, any limitation in the analysis

Role requires prolonged periods of concentration working at computer

Where appropriate ensure information is well evidenced

Responsibility for finance, equipment and other resources

Responsible for your own equipment and resources used within Workforce Systems Team

Potentially carry out ad hoc procurement activities in support of day-to-day team needs
