Our client, a leading games provider headquartered in the United Kingdom, is seeking a dynamic Junior and Mid-Level 'Games Graphic Designer' to join their talented art team. As part of this creative studio, you will focus on bringing high-quality art projects to life.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute exceptional 2D projects, exceeding stakeholder expectations while staying on schedule and within budget.
- Collaborate closely with diverse teams, including project managers, artists, game designers, and team leads, to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Work with the Game Design Team and Head of Product to refine design concepts and shape the project's creative direction.
- Contribute to enhancing art processes and standards, always seeking ways to boost efficiency and maintain top-notch quality.
- Identify potential technical hurdles in advance and provide realistic project completion timelines.
- Engage with colleagues and external partners, negotiating effectively with senior stakeholders for successful project outcomes.
Requirements
- 2D art production background, professional experience preferred, but open to considering freelance or recent graduates for the junior role.
- Proficiency in essential 2D design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
- Strong artistic abilities with a keen eye for composition, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with game design principles and mechanics.
- Hands-on experience with Blender 3D software.
- Bachelor's degree in computer graphics, Digital Art, or a related field.
