The Network Management Service includes three teams: Network Coordination, Civil Parking Enforcement and Traffic Control.

The Network Coordination function ensures the smooth running of the network, coordinates utility, developer and private work on the highway, manages performance and minimises disruption to the travelling public, under the Oxfordshire Permit Scheme.

We are looking for 3 Officers within the Network Coordination Team to undertake inspections of streetworks to ensure works comply with the Oxfordshire Permit Scheme conditions, the New Roads & Street Works Act and Codes of Practice.

The posts will report directly to area Senior Officers and the Team Leader – (Operations) Network Coordination and will provide support to Senior Officers in meeting inspection targets (A/B & C Inspections), Raising S74 charges, FPNs to maximise compliance on the network.

You should have experience in the role of Streetworks Officers and hold a LANTRA Ch8 SLG qualification and NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor Card (or be prepared to undertake it).

You will have a sound knowledge of the latest legislative requirements as they relate to NRSWA.

Be able to work on initiative and alone, Ideally you will have previous experience of working at a similar level in Local Government or a Utility.

Staff will be based at various locations across the County including Ron Groves House in Kidlington, which is the base of operations, although we are currently working remotely.
