Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits a self-motivated therapeutic radiographer to lead radiotherapy trials and research at the Trust, maintaining clinical skills along the way. The role involves overseeing trials such as PACE-NODES, BRIOChe, HIT-Miso, ATNEC, STAMPEDE & RAINBO.

The radiotherapy team received the 'team of the year' award from the Society of Radiographers for the South East region, showcasing their dedication to patient-centered care, teamwork, and flexibility in achieving objectives. Recent milestones include the treatment of the 100th SABR lung patient and expanding the SABR portfolio to include Oligometastasis and Prostate SABR.

The Portsmouth area offers a blend of city life, rural villages, and coastal towns. Qualifications

Essential

HCPC registration as a Therapeutic Radiographer BSc in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent Recent CPD evidence Post-registration clinical experience

Desirable

Management/Leadership training experience Postgraduate qualification in Research or Healthcare Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Training Project management and clinical trials coordination experience Systems development and change management expertise Phlebotomy skills
