An exciting opportunity to support the redesign and delivery of a new compensation framework and benefits offer at Save the Children UK We're looking for a
Reward Partner **to join our People Team on a 2-year Fixed Term Contract.

About Us
Save the Children UK believes every child deserves a future.

In the UK and around the world, we work every day to give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm.

When crisis strikes, and children are most vulnerable, we are always among the first to respond and the last to leave.

We ensure children's unique needs are met and their voices are heard. We deliver lasting results for millions of children, including those hardest to reach.

About the role

The People Team at Save the Children UK has been on a journey to be more agile, data driven and customer experience oriented.

This role is key in ensuring that our reward offer reflects and embeds these principles.

As
Reward Partner,
you will work across the Organisation providing expert guidance and support to our Leadership teams on Reward related matters, ensuring the UK&I Reward Strategy translates throughout the business, and delivering this in a way that enables an amazing employee experience.

Leading the delivery and implementation of compensation and benefits initiatives, you'll play a key role in redesigning and delivering a people centred offer that is innovative, inclusive, competitive and affordable, as well as embedding our new pay framework.

You'll provide high quality, customer centric information and analytics to enable great decision making on the Total Reward Offer.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the implementation and embed the new compensation framework
  • Ensure clear, consistent, and effective communication and understanding of the compensation and benefit framework both internally and externally.
  • Review and implement an updated pay policy aligned with the new compensation framework
  • Conduct a fullscale benefits review and research new and emerging reward and benefits tools and offers
  • Prepare and submit compensation and HR data surveys, including salary benchmarking and D&I indexing
  • Lead on and implement the annual pay review process
  • Support HR Partners/Advisors and the Resourcing team with job evaluations using Hay methodology, and provide up to date salary benchmarking information supporting the integrity of the compensation framework
  • Support with the delivery of gender and ethnicity pay reporting and monitor compliance with our commitment to the Real Living Wage
  • Manage the employee benefits platform and offers
  • Remain connected to external trends and regulatory developments around Reward, and be part of networks and forums as needed
  • Work with the wider People team and organisation stakeholders including staff groups and networks to embed relevant policies and guidance.

About you

You'll be an excellent relationship builder, with the ability to establish credibility and rapport with employees and managers at all levels.

You be confident in communicating Reward principles and frameworks to stakeholders, with a track record of advising and influencing on confidential and sometimes challenging issues, ideally with experience having implemented new compensation frameworks and benefits offers at scale.

As part of our 'People Team of the Future', you'll be committed to continuously learning, adapting, and responding to change, and working with others in an agile way.

You will have a strong awareness and understanding of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and be able to demonstrate how you have embedded this in your work.

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • Experience of implementing reward initiatives and ideally a pay framework
  • Knowledge of emerging reward tools and principles and workforce trends and can demonstrate use of this to inform insights and recommendations and linking reward design to employee experience
  • Demonstrable experience of embedding D&I into offers and initiatives
  • Experience in managing multiple strategic and highprofile initiatives
  • Experience of working with HR systems, data analytics and producing reports
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of using MS Excel at an advanced level, with experience of PowerBI desirable
