Caseworker

Salary:
£26,460 per annum + Benefits -Successful candidates are subject to our Development Progression Scale, as well as annual salary reviews

Covering Cornwall -Due to regular travel the role does require access to transport (i.e. daily commutes, multi-site travel on occasion)

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive community-based debt advice service to people on probation or leaving custody.

What you will be doing?
Delivering 1:2:1 face to face and remote (Phone and MSTeams) services to service users
Delivering a suite of workshops to individuals and/or groups of Service Users
Preparing & agreeing individual action plans
Providing specialist finance, benefit and debt casework, maintaining professional advice standards in line with the Financial Conduct Authority

To be successful you will require:
Experience of working with vulnerable/challenging people, for example people who have complex needs
Case Management experience (i.e dealing with multiple people, managing their expectations)
The ability to deliver short and tailored interventions to address barriers within a given timeframe
