We are currently looking for a highly skilled Principal Enterprise Technology Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software development, particularly in the Payments and Foreign Exchange (FX) sector. They should excel in developing and implementing cloud-native strategies and architectures, aligning technical initiatives with overall business objectives.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in modernizing and rearchitecting Payments, FX, and Core banking platforms, ensuring they remain innovative and aligned with our business goals. Collaborating with senior leaders and key stakeholders, you will craft an enterprise architecture that supports our strategic vision.
- Define and communicate architectural vision, strategy, and Payment and FX platforms roadmap.
- Lead the modernization and re-architecture of FX, Payments, and Core banking platforms for cloud-native environments.
- Establish technology principles, standards, and patterns for building scalable Payments and FX solutions.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance on complex projects, promoting architectural best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance the technology architecture based on business strategy.
- Drive the adoption of modern technologies for improved system performance and security.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks in the architectural design.
- Communicate architectural decisions and technical opportunities to senior leadership.
- Extensive experience in software architecture and transforming FX, Payments, and Core banking platforms.
- Deep understanding of payment processing, FX systems, and financial protocols.
- Proven leadership in technology strategy and enterprise architecture.
- Knowledge of modern software development practices and cloud technologies.
- Expertise in microservices architecture, API design, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Familiarity with security standards and practices within financial services.
- Track record of leading high-performing technical teams and driving innovation.
- Understanding of machine learning and AI applications in financial services.
