Summary:

Nijhuis SaurIndustries is actively seeking a Senior Process Engineer (Water) forfull-time employment within its UK & Ireland division, reporting intoour Head of Process.

The individual will work closely with otherengineering and technical departments to ensure that treatmentprocesses meet business and customer expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include:
Design of multi-disciplinary municipal water projectsincluding reviewing engineering design calculations in support ofdesign packages.
Preparation of conceptual processengineering design deliverables for tenders and studies.
Process engineering design development based on Nijhuis SaurIndustries design guidelines, providing cost-effective solutions,ensuring technical compliance with client requirements.
Participating in HAZOP studies, and design reviews.
Interdepartmental liaison with mechanical/piping, draughting,civil/structural, electrical and control systems engineering to assistwith bid/tenders.
Prepare detailed contract specificationsincluding equipment selection and liaison with equipment suppliers andvendors.
The ability to work independently on projectsensuring delivery to scope, time, budget, and quality requirement.
Conduct planning studies, model, and hydraulic / treatmentcalculations.
Provide technical leadership to contractors toensure clients quality requirements are met by demonstratingcreativity, foresight, and engineering expertise.
Ability towork successfully with experts in multiple disciplines with a range ofapproaches.
Consistently deliver on each project to achieveindustry benchmarks for quality and overall project delivery.
Effectively maintain and develop healthy client relationshipthroughout the project execution and close-out.
Comfortablemanaging and prioritising multiple projects and deadlines.
Ensure Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policyis adequately implemented.

Required Skills/Qualifications:
A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Chemical orEnvironmental Engineering, or equivalent, is essential.
Aminimum of 7 years' experience within water treatment systems design.
Experience as technical/design/project lead withmulti-discipline design teams on moderate to complex treatmentprojects.
The ability to work independently on projectsensuring delivery to scope, time, budget and quality requirement.
Proven track record in delivering outputs to tight timeframes and within fixed budgets.
