1 Full time (37.5 hours per week) post to work between North and North East Lincolnshire, based primarily in Brigg/Scunthorpe/Grimsby, with occasional travel to Hull and East Riding screening venues.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated person to join the Humber Diabetic Eye Screening Programme as a Retinal Screening Photographer. The successful applicant will work with the retinal screening team and be responsible for providing visual acuity examinations and digital photography during retinal screening clinics.
**The successful applicant will be given full in house training to ensure they are competent to administer patient eye drops and perform a visual acuity test in preparing the patient for digital photography. The successful applicant will also be given full training to perform digital photography of the patient's retina in a dark environment within an office or mobile unit. Excellent patient management during clinics is essential to ensure a timely screening process.
