One of the UK's largest house builders is recruiting in their Cambridgeshire region. The person they appoint will join as a Technical Coordinator on a twelve-month fixed term contract.

As a Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for the engineering aspects of one of the region's biggest developments.

Key Responsibilities


• Minimise risk through provision of timely and high-quality information


• Brief, manage and drive the external consultants in the preparation and issue of production information to an agreed programme, fee and scope


• Monitor and control the Professional Fees budget and update fee reports on monthly basis


• Attend site progress meetings and carry out site inspection


• Attend meetings at various stages of projects (Land/Technical hand-over, Project Meeting, Optimisation, Progression, Technical/Sales, Budget Meetings, etc.)


• Liaise and coordinate other parties, both internal and external


• Respond to site queries and resolve Technical/Construction problems


• Issue drawings and information for construction purposes

To be considered for this position, it would be advantageous to have worked directly for another house builder or residential developer in a similar position and be qualified to degree or HNC level in a construction related subject for example Civil Engineering or Construction management.
