Job Description

What will you be doing?

As a Control & Instrumentation Engineer, you will join ourteam in High Wycombe to support our activities within the Energysector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Overseeing system integration, communication networks, and process instrumentation specifications.
  • Creating strategies and identifying potential risks within the development process .
  • Developing SCADA systems through various PLC programming languages.
  • Reviewing supplier drawings and specifications for compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Providing comprehensive documentation and design for controls and instrumentation.
  • Conducting factory acceptance tests for PLC/SCADA programming and various plans.
  • Managing the controls and instrumentation aspects of installation and commissioning.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience within the field of Instrumentation activities, either design or commissioning.
  • Prior exposure to PLC programming languages such as Allen-Bradley, TwinCAT andSiemens.
  • Proven experience in Renewable Energy or similar industries.
